The ending isn't completely satisfying, but it's decent and leaves you feeling like you did, in fact, complete a full game. Silenced weapons and headshots, crouch-walking, melee takedowns, and not being directly spotted by camera or human are the rules of stealth. Stealth isn't usually necessary, but it will usually make your mission easier. ![]() The missions never feel too short or too tedious. The story is nice, though it skips a bit in some places. Combining the tense combat of Call of Duty with the cover systems found in Breach or GRAW. And now, the review: The campaign is great. Now it makes sense why the game is so fun. I don't understand why it's so good until after the first mission, when the opening credits roll. I play the first mission and am hooked, and don't stop until I've beaten the campaign. I looked over the small library, and picked one with a logo that is legendary in the FPS genre 007. I looked over the small I was at my friend's house, all bored, when I decided to pick some random game from his shelf and give it a shot. Specifically: We may need to research into the "GAME OVER" cutscene.I was at my friend's house, all bored, when I decided to pick some random game from his shelf and give it a shot. It should be noted that when selecting any mission with harder difficulties than Agent, Bond will spawn stuck underwater, locking up the game.ĭiscuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Despite this, there are some areas where Bond can walk on seemingly nothing, since the water ends at a certain point. There is also some broken water textures on obscured areas by the island, but there are invisible walls outside the water so Bond won't go out of bounds. The only solid areas from the island are the small tunnels below the "bridge" from the right. The map itself is a flat ocean area with Castle Thane itself in the middle, the island of which has glitchy collision. It's unknown why the "map" has so much collision to begin with however. Bond's spawn point seems to line up exactly with where the camera starts in the actual cutscene, so it's likely that Bond/the player is used as the "camera" for the area. While not unused in itself, using the GameShark code below lets you access a playable version of the Castle Thane island that appears on the cutscene after completing the mission Underground Uprising, where the camera shows a short aerial preview of the island, which is between the cutscene where Bond tried to reach the female assassin who was trying to escape on an aerostatic balloon, and the cutscene where Bond and M talk about Renard's return.Īfter enabling the cheat, select any mission, and you will enter the Castle Thane map. ![]() This might also explain why the Mission Select screen has an uneven grid of 14 missions instead of 15, which would make 3 even rows of 5 missions for each line. It looks like a multiplayer level, but whether it was meant to appear in the game or whether it's just a test room is uncertain.
